My CV

UX Consultant (cxpartners)
December 2021 – Present

Whilst at cxpartners I've worked on multiple projects, for major organisations such as NHS Blood & Transplants and SSE Business Energy (one of the UK’s largest energy providers).

Projects include redesigning the NHS Give Blood digital journey (NHS), and creating a new platform for independent energy brokers (SSE).

My role include working in Agile multi-disciplined teams, collaborating with stakeholders, planning and conducting Discovery, Alpha and Beta phases, conducting multiple types of user research (qualitative, quantitative, and longitudinal), running workshops, creating artefacts, crafting prototypes, giving playbacks, all the way to designing high fidelity designs and working with developers to bring them into creation.

I’ve won multiple company awards for my work, based on outstanding client feedback.

I’m also a core member of the AI community of practice, exploring emerging AI technologies, and its potential to impact digital services.

UX/UI designer (Hargreaves Lansdown)

September 2020 – December 2021

As the UX designer for HL Active Savings, I worked in an Agile product team to improve the service for our customers, whilst supporting business objectives. Projects were often complex, due to the nature of financial savings products, but also rewarding.

I was also a founding member of the Accessibility Working Group, promoting accessibility best practice across HL’s various digital services.

UI & Digital designer (Hargreaves Lansdown)

April 2015 – September 2020

Prior to taking on UX responsibilities I was a dedicated UI designer, working on various projects; from redesigning the pensions calculator to the Regular Savings online service. These required me to design intuitive and accessible interfaces, in a highly collaborative way.

All of these involved building prototypes, taking part in workshops, observing usability tests and ultimately being responsible for the finished designs. I would then work closely with developers to ensure a smooth handover and ensuring the build followed the design.

Designer (Jaypeg Design Studio)

August 2014 – April 2015

I worked for a wide range of clients on both digital and print projects. My work included branding, designing websites, creating digital assets, and more.

January 2014 – August 2014

Designer for a Bristol digital start-up specialising in creating apps for local businesses.

Designer (Doha Film Institute, Qatar)
October 2013 – December 2013

I contributed to the design needs of an international film festival, working across print and digital mediums.

Designer (Blue Cedar Printworks)
